Sample Specification:
The silencer shall be a Maxim Model MB31 with heavy wall, all welded construction, protected by a single coat of shop primer. Acoustical packing shall be polyester wool or other material suitable for the application, protected by perforated metal with wire screen/cloth. The silencer shall be complete with the following accessories:

Service – Typical Attenuation is 30 dBA

Use for a high degree of overall attenuation on
blower intakes or discharges. For intake service,
specify the MB31-I.

Use for good attenuation on blower intakes or
discharges. For intake service, specify the MB21-I.

Use for a high degree of attenuation of high
frequency noise on blower intakes or discharges.
For intake service, specify the MB11-I.
