The silencer shall be a Maxim Model MUL and shall be of aluminized steel construction, and suitable for mounting in any position. The silencer shall be complete with the following accessories:

Designed for smaller engine applications,
the MUL is available in pipe connection sizes 1” to 3 1/2”. offering semi-critical grade silencing
comparable to a model M31, an MUL is
suitable for residential areas where background
noise is present but not objectionable and engine
exhaust noise is desired to match the ambient
noise levels.
